Leland’s photographic work has appeared in many newspapers, magazines, books, and in editorial and commercial contexts online. In recent years, Leland has narrowed his focus and returned to shooting mostly film for personal projects.
He has continued to shoot portraiture, and many of his photos of writers can be found on the inside flaps of books of history, poetry, fiction, and art.
In Fall 2020, Leland was one of four photographers featured in NSEW Magazine’s Issue #3.
