This photograph of an old homestead in Montana’s Mission Valley, on the lands of the  Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Nation is perfectly suited to printing as a maté toned cyanotype. The vivid blues of the classic cyanotype give way to a warmer greenish brown that suits this landscape. This photograph was taken with a 4×5 camera in the Fall of 2023 and printed as part of an on-going exploration of western homesteads.
