Today is D-Day. On June 6, 1944, 156,000 Allied Troops – Canadians, British and Americans – landed along a 50 mile stretch of Normany and began Western ground offensive that would eventually lead into the heart of Nazi Germany. In 2018, while visiting the region with my family, we drove the entire Norman Coast, from Honfleur to Carentan.
